Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

And She Was

I can't remember what this eye catching sculpture is called, but you can find it above the Trestle Arts District. It's highly visible from Colorado Avenue, just west of downtown. Recently she was sporting a heart shaped "tattoo" on her bicep with the word mom emblazoned across it (in honor of Mothers Day, I assume). Now she's wearing shades. It's hard to see from this angle, but her sunglasses are painted with the rainbow flag in support of Pride Month. I love it!

And now, for your listening pleasure...

A stylized sea monster, presumably, but quite cool.

Ha. I had to look her up. Mr. Kendall is right....it's called "Octomaid."
