Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

As far as I've ever noticed, there are only three Italianate homes still standing in Colorado Springs. This one, at 1232 North Nevada, has obviously been subdivided into apartments and looks a little worse for wear, but even so, its lovely architecture stands out. According to my research this home was built in 1890, which was as the Italianate had begun to wane in popularity. I wish someone would paint this old beauty!

Glad it's still standing....does need some things to bring it up to snuff....like the siding on the second floor..Ah well takes some $$ to keep a house as it was.
