Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Last of the cool murals behind Core Power Yoga on Nevada Avenue. I like this one best, not because of the subject matter but because of the colors. By the way, this place used to be a wonderful, wonderful diner named Bell's. It was there for decades. It was a true mid-century diner, old school, serving burgers and fries and shakes and all manner of wonderfully delicious and fattening food. I lived in this neighborhood for years and I especially loved going to Bell's for breakfast. It was an absolute travesty when they closed their doors. I think it was sometime in the early 2000s when that happened. I was heartbroken! I believe it became a physical therapy place for a while, then eventually it turned into a yoga studio. Ugh! Not that I don't think yoga is awesome, but it just seems wrong that the best ever diner in the world turned into this. 😢
