Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Heritage Garden (Part 8)

One last interesting plant to share. This one is a climber and, and not only are the incipient blooms intriguing, the silvery green color is lovely too. I wish I knew what it was. I'm going to go back after the flowers have had time to mature and produce seeds, then try and grow one of these myself next year.

I ran your picture through plantnet and it came up with wood spurge. The plant is prettier than its name!

Oh good. Raleigh came in to save the day. I was going to guess a wild honeysuckle. There's one in TX that is lonicera albiflora that the deer love so it's hard to find, except in thickets. Just took some cuttings today to see if they will root. But it's so much colder in CO, I doubt that it would be that.
