This morning I took part in the local March for Reproductive Rights, aka the Women's March, and it was extremely gratifying. I later heard that there were over 600 marches across the country today and some of them were HUGE. As usual, I took a lot of pictures. This was the last one of the day and I thought her message was especially powerful. It wasn't just angry, like many of the signs I saw, it was uplifting too. I plan on making a slide show of the event like I usually do but that may take a few days. Like I said in yesterday's post, I'm unspeakably tired. But even though I have almost no time for personal pursuits right now, I'm glad I went and I think it was important to be part of this.

It is important.
I live in Texas. Be glad you don't.
Judith, I saw footage from some of the marches in Texas. It looked like tens of thousands of people showed up to protest in the big cities there, like San Antonio. I think Texas is going to turn a corner soon and I mean it's going to be blue instead of red in the near future.
