Today is 4/20, sort of the de facto National Marijuana Appreciation Day. I can't remember why April 20th is such a big deal for pot users, but it's a big deal around here. Right at noon I drove past Slice 420 on Oro Blanco and North Carefree, and it was under siege. Later in the afternoon I found myself in Manitou for a meeting, and both of the pot dispensaries there were doing good business. Here's one of them.

I get legalizing it, but I think it is a vile habit. And I don't like what has happened here where you are seeing multiple shops in a given neighbourhood.
Oh, as an old hippie (not very authentic actually, at all) and haven't had a toke in oh....45 years?, still ,maybe I think it might not be a bad idea. Wonder if it could help my 77 year old body's aches and pains?
