It's been a few months since I've been able to participate in Theme Day along with my other City Daily Photo compatriots, so I was tickled to discover that, quite by accident, I had a pretty good candidate for the theme already waiting in the wings. Cool! The theme this month is symmetry. This is the Russell Tutt Science Center on the CC campus, and it really does appear quite symmetrical on first glance. But study it a little longer and you'll see that there are more windows on the right side of the building, and that the multi story glass tower in the center is actually not in the center at all. This all works for me. Symmetry is actually quite boring when it comes to architecture. I'm a big fan of the rule of thirds, myself.
For more examples of symmetry from City Daily Photo bloggers all over the world, check out our portal HERE or our Facebook group HERE. Enjoy!
