Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Double Take

When these two ladies strolled past us with their puppy a couple of weekends ago in Old Colorado City, I did a double take because that's not a little dog at all, it's a baby goat! This photo is a little bit out of focus, but it's too cute not to share.

I thought it was a dog, too, and was trying to figure out in my mind what kind it was when I read your comment. If I had a small house somewhere and if it were allowed, I'd have a little Nubian goat. I hate to mow lawns...https://backyardgoats.iamcountryside.com/kids-corner/fun-with-miniature-goats/

@Pat they are some of my favorite creatures! Top three on the cuteness list for me. I would love to have a goat! In my neighborhood we have small houses but large lots, lots of room for a critter like a goat. One of my neighbors behind me clearly has at least one of them -- I can hear it bleating on warm days when I'm out in the garden. I'm dying to meet it someday!
