They have a great selection of both ordinary and extraordinary succulents at Rick's Garden Center, including a spiral cactus that's nearly $150! Would you pay that much for a plant? I have friends who'd pay that much or more for a bottle of wine, so why not? If you treat the plant well, it may very well outlive you. It's something you could enjoy for a lifetime.
