Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pollinators Make the World Go 'Round

I'm back! I went on vacation last Thursday (Camp John Waters in Connecticut, to be exact -- more about that later) and was gone for nearly a week, but before I could get out of town I had a mountainous workload to deal with, so I won't apologize for not blogging since the 4th. There's only so much a person can do. I did get sick while on vacation, as I usually do, so the last few days have been about recuperating.

This morning I spied a hummingbird moth flitting around the bee and butterfly garden and managed to get a couple of decent shots of it. I don't mind insects as a rule, but I find moths to be a little creepy. Still, I'm always happy to let the pollinators do their thing. After all, without them, we're nothing.

Hope you are better. Glad you got out of Dodge for a while. I too find those hummingbird moths a little upsetting. Not sure why.
