This cool house is in the Old North End, in the pocket neighborhood west of Wood Avenue. I can't remember exactly what street it's on. Clearly it's been remodeled (I wish I could see the inside) and must have started life as a 1960s rancher. The architect has taken care to use its mid-century modern lines as a jumping off point for the update, without obliterating the original spirit of the house. I like!
