Pat and I have recently become interested in bird watching, or birding, as they say. For a long time we just thought it would be fun to try, but never actually went out there with binoculars in hand to seek out feathered friends. That is, not until Pat recently did a little research and learned that Barr Lake State Park, about 95 miles northeast of us near Brighton, has an amazing assortment of birds, most notably bald eagles that nest there every winter. So yesterday we made our first birding adventure, and we weren't disappointed! I'm a little tired right now so I'll just tease you with this one picture, but I'll share more over the next few days.

And now you need a 600mm lens.
Looking forward to more.
Glad you had a good time and were out and about.. Nice thing about bird watching, you can do it in your on back yard too, or go far, far, far afield.
@StefanJansson I'm pricing them! Ha!
