Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Boddington Field

See how dead and yellow the poor grass is? We are DYING for springtime here. By now we're all very sick indeed of sad looking soccer fields and the like! Spring comes later here than other places, it's one of the facts of living at 6,000 feet above sea level, so we all jump on it when we get a nice warm day in April. Sunday was one of those days. We took Frodo for a walk in north Monument Valley Park, where we spied these young peoople in Boddington Field happily playing Frisbee despite the occasional wind gust.

The lovely Boddingtons (all around neat people and patrons of the arts to boot) sponsor this soccer field, so nicely tucked away at the north end of the park. I've always loved it. It's sort of a well kept secret.
