El Rey del Taco #2, our new favorite hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, has done a little redecorating. Their new table tops and chairs feature colorful people and/or scenes. We were tickled when the hostess guided us to a Frida Kahlo themed table the other night. It's a nice likeness of Frida, although it does leave out the famous moustache.

But as far as I know, they've never been in style anywhere, anytime. Never have I seen one in old portraits from around the world. I've known people who've had them (women) and went to great lengths to get rid of them. Odd they left it off. Well, she's "pretty."
