This week I've been sharing my pictures of the annual Garden Tour, and I have to say that there was a notable amount of quite beautiful water wise planting to be seen. Today happens to be Theme Day for City Daily Photo bloggers, and this month the theme is climate. I think that these gorgeous examples of xeric gardens really fit the theme quite well, since water is an ever looming concern, especially the the dry, dry American west. There has been gathering momentum for this sort of planting in the last few years, and I'm certainly on board with it! We have not one but two bee and butterfly gardens at our house, one in the backyard and one in the front, and both are xeric. Anyway, enjoy these pictures and let them inspire you as they do me.
