Every year the Pikes Peak International Raceway does a weekend-long event featuring a huge car show, drag races, a pinup contest, tons of rockabilly bands, and even a junior rockabilly contest! I can't believe I've never been to it before, but since this year they hired me to document the pinups, I didn't really have a choice. Ha! I am having a blast and there are plenty of picture opportunities, just like Viva Las Vegas. Here's a little teaser. I'll be there all day tomorrow taking lots of pictures, so be prepared for a great series in the coming days!

We had a red Chevy just like that. I used to think those fins were really cool. Still are, actually!
