Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

A Classic

I spotted this beautiful car cruising east on Boulder Street on Sunday. I can't tell what make or model it is, but I'm assuming it's late 1930s to early 1940s, and boy is it ever a beaut. Somebody put some love, time and money into it for sure!

I actually had a '40's car as a teenager, a Chevy. It was HUGE inside. I loved it, though it was on its last legs, and certainly never as shiny as the one in the photo. It was replaced by a 1950 Studebaker, the one that looked like a bullet or something. I loved that one too. I think my dad didn't pay more than $75 for either one. Am I old or what.

Yes, I suppose you *are* old, @JudithK, but that is not a bad or a negative thing, just a fact -- and frankly it's an accomplishment and something to be celebrated if you ask me! :)

I'm constantly amazed about it. (Being old.) Especially since I remember my car like it was yesterday. Ha.
