The sewing competition at the state fair this year was kind of meh, if you ask me. Nothing really stood out as unique or displaying extremely outstanding craftsmanship, other than this Mondrian inspired coat and the dramatic black velvet dress below. The rest of the entries were okay, but nothing special. But over in the 4H building, it was another story. Those kids can really sew up a storm! I was so impressed! Look at all those great looking garments, just wow!
