I was in Ute Park today doing some senior portraits, and grabbed this shot before leaving. It's very clear from this image that the foothills still haven't recovered from the Waldon Canyon Fire over 12 years ago, in fact they still look quite bare. It must take generations for that kind of devastation to disappear.
