Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

This One's for Judith K.!

It's New Year's Eve and I thought I'd end 2024 with this cute picture of Frodo with our favorite mountain in the background. This post goes out to my favorite blog reader, Judith K. in Texas! She faithfully reads my every post and leaves thoughtful comments, and I really appreciate it. Thanks Judith! (She also reads and comments on many of the other City Daily Photo blogs -- she really is just the best!) I have mentioned Frodo in many posts this year, since I've made it a habit lately to walk him as much as possible with a camera in hand, and a few days ago Judith hinted that she'd like to see a picture of the little guy. So here he is! Frodo is a chiweenie, which is a cute way of saying that he's a chihuahua-dachshund mix, and he's a funny little guy with enough personality for ten dogs. We sure love him!

Thank you again Judith for reading my blog! I hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year celebration. I know the political climate in the US is awful and we're in for a very bumpy ride for at least the next couple of years, but let's keep our heads up and focus on the good! Here's to a fantastic 2025!

Well, what can I say. I'm blushing. Meanwhile, Frodo is pretty cute, actually - quite handsome. And he's looking in charge..
A chihuahua-dachsund mix is almost more than I can imagine, having known some imperious critters who were either dachsunds or chihuahuas. I'm laughing. Have never known a chiweenie.
