The Season of Brown

Any place that gets a proper winter turns a depressing shade of brown, it's true. But because we get so much sunshine here, the snow usually melts quickly and this is what you get most of the time during the cold months. Unfortunately, winters are long here and the season of brown lasts until the end of May, or even later. You really need to have a certain kind of stamina for it because it does get a little depressing! It's a good thing we have this beautiful mountain to distract us from all the brown.
