This photo only looks black and white but it's actually in color. Can you imagine working here? It's so depressing! And literally almost completely devoid of color. This is the hallway outside my surgeon's office, in a medical building next to Saint Francis Hospital. I am going have my gallbladder removed soon, and I took this picture as we were leaving his office after our first consultation with him last month. I was struck by how utterly grim and characterless this passageway is. I think a prison might actually be easier on the psyche.

Wow, very depressing. I wonder why that is.
But it is visually interesting in its sheer boringness. I like what I think of as "black and white in color."
A common sight in many buildings, I think.
