Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

This Is Not a Black and White Photo

This photo only looks black and white but it's actually in color. Can you imagine working here? It's so depressing! And literally almost completely devoid of color. This is the hallway outside my surgeon's office, in a medical building next to Saint Francis Hospital. I am going have my gallbladder removed soon, and I took this picture as we were leaving his office after our first consultation with him last month. I was struck by how utterly grim and devoid of character this passageway is. I think a prison might actually be easier on the psyche.

Yikes. Fully agree with you. Not cheery or reassuring at all.

Wow, very depressing. I wonder why that is.
