Summer is so close, you can almost taste it. I took this on May 23rd in Monument Valley Park as I was walking Frodo with a friend. We stopped for a little break beyond the baseball diamond, and as you can see it was truly a perfect afternoon in that moment. We have had rain almost every day since then, and more of it coming this week, but hopefully this wet interlude will give way to some truly glorious summer weather soon.

Last year Summer arrived in my area in late April, this year it happened yesterday, all according to the meteorologists. Nice tree snap.
