Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Tempus Fugit

I had some location scouting to do today for a shoot tomorrow, and it took me around the Near North End and part of Monument Valley Park. The old Van Briggle building abuts a section of the park, so I stopped there to take a couple of pictures. I've featured these beautiful details on the blog before, but Van Briggle never gets old.

So was it about 5:30 when you took the first photo?

Wait....now that I think about it, I don't see how a vertical sundial would work....hmmmm. Duh.

@JudithK ha! I don't know exactly how it works when the sundial is vertical. The time stamp on the photo is 1:24 PM if that helps. :)

I googled it, found several articles about vertical sundials, yet to read them though. Fun photos here.

The sundial is neat.
