Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Check Back with Me in a Few Days!

We spent most of last week at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, which is (you guessed it) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was our third time attending and we had a blast! It's always fun and I hope we can do it again soon. I managed to blog every day while we were gone, but only because I set up and scheduled all the posts in advance. We got back home early Monday morning, just before sunrise, and ever since then I've been churning and burning in preparation for the fact that I'm about to jump on another plane tomorrow at 6:15 AM, this time to California. You may remember that we were in California just a few weeks ago, in February, to visit friends. This time I'm going solo to visit the same friends while Pat holds down the fort here at home.

As a sanity saving measure I've decided  to put the blog on the back burner for the rest of this week and probably until late next week, so here's a placeholder photo from Viva. Does this guy look familiar? That's because he's dressed like the classic Big Boy! Although apparently Big Boy restaurants are still around in some places, you may or may not remember this mid-century American cultural icon, so here's a little more info about him.

I'll have more VLV photos for you when I get back. See you next week!

A real life Big Boy. Fond memories of him in Westchester, California, where I went to high school.
