Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Mad weather

This was the weather as I was leaving pub quiz last night at 10:23PM. By the time I left the house a little after noon today, the bright sun had melted all the snow away as if it had never happened. But they say a big cold front is moving in shortly. That's a good thing -- frankly it worries me more when we get 60+ degree temps in January and February, our coldest months! I suppose El NiƱo is to blame.

It's going to be another horrible summer here. It's only Feb, and some of the reservoirs are too low already. And that's just a few months after those horrible typhoons and floods! Ach.

Did you see the face in your photo?? Creepy! ;)

We also are having dire warnings about the mountain snowpacks this winter. Some of the ski places have had to close down for much of January and have only just re-opened.

I see the face in the photo as well ... but I also see that it is a perfect HEART!!!

Looks like a couple of really bright eyes looking angrily at the snow! My sister lives in Baltimore and they are expecting about 2 feet of snow. We are just getting a lot of heavy rain and wind.
