Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Honk if you...

This rather humorous sign in front of First Southern Baptist on Palmer Park and Uintah caught my eye tonight. It's actually illegal to text and drive in Colorado, but that doesn't stop people from doing it. Nothing makes me angrier than to see someone texting and driving! It's just insanely dangerous! Grrrr!

A good sign. Makes me angry, also. There is truly no need to text and drive at the same time! What is the matter with these people that have to do that? Their nuts!

i like that. i really appreciate church signs with a sense of humor. although this one certainly has a grain of truth to it, as well.

Your sign caught my eye, especially in light of the fact that GA recently passed a law making it illegal.

Yep, it's now illegal (talk without hands-free OR text in vehicle) in Oregon as well, in fact soon it will be a 'primary' offense. Since I'm an old dinosaur who doesn't own a cell phone ... I'm not too much affected by the new law - and, in fact, applaud it!
