Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Gold Camp Road

This shot was taken through the windshield as we were heading back home from our little sojourn (see the last few days' worth of posts for more pretty pictures). Gold Camp Road is a beautiful drive, and if you live around here you should really take an afternoon to explore it. Four wheel drive isn't really necessary, but there are roads branching off it that are definitely 4x4 access only. And I mean aggro 4x4 -- and if you've never been four-wheeling you are seriously missing out, it's a blast! But Gold Camp Road itself is well graded throughout, although there are some scary dropoffs, so drive carefully! It's so very pretty any time of the year.

Gold camp is a beautiful drive. Please give yourself plenty of daylight to make the trip. There are some nasty, life-ending falls from that road. Take your time and enjoy the view.
