Sorry to have missed the last couple of days, dear readers! I was actually quite sick and spent two days in bed, feeling sorry for myself. Today is much better! Pat and I went out in search of the cupcake truck a couple of hours ago, and it was so nice out! I think maybe, just maybe, winter is finally behind us. The thermometer in my car read 81F degrees (27 Celsius). Perfect! We saw lots of people out and about, enjoying the first true "shorts weather" of the year. Here's a little family crossing Platte Avenue at Tejon Street: mom, daughter, grandchild and faithful four-legged companion. Happy spring, everyone!
