What's missing from this picture?
What's missing is the mountains! This is what it looks like just before the snow starts coming down on us. Lest you think we have bright blue skies every single day, let me assure you we get cloudy weather too, and when a storm is brewing, the mountains disappear like magic.

Oh my gosh, look at that, they're gone! Lucky for you they come back, love Colorado! Grey skies everywhere now-
I've seen that sort of effect with the Gatineau Hills across the river here... you get snow moving in fast, and the hills are completely lost to view.
It's funny how much it looks like the midwest when the mountains are hiding.
Yeah, our mountains have a way of disappearing too!
