It's Girl Scout cookie time!
Oh my, it's that time of year -- the time when the Girl Scouts trot out their wares, and we helpless civilians pull out our wallets and spend all our available cash on crack -- errrr, cookies. I am a huge fan of the Girl Scouts. It's a wonderful organization. In fact, I was a scout from the third grade all the way through junior high school. Some of my happiest childhood memories are from scouting! So it's no surprise that I'm happy to support their fundraising efforts every year by buying crack -- errrr, cookies.
If you don't live in a part of the world that has Girl Scout cookies, well, I can only say I feel sorry for you! These adorable young ladies and their moms set up shop yesterday at the King Soopers in the Uintah Gardens shopping center, but chances are you can find scouts all over town. I bought two boxes of Savannah Smiles. Between me and Pat, they are already almost gone ;^) No doubt I will be making another purchase very soon!

I remember selling and eating... I loved the peanut butter ones and the Lorna Doones.
It'll be a few more weeks before we see the Girl Scouts here selling cookies, but I'll buy some.
Oh no, I'm in trouble.
Thank you for buying from our girls and supporting Girl Scouts!!
