Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Snack time

I took this picture in the Garden of the Gods last week. There were a few deer hanging around, munching on trees and vegetation, completely unfazed by the lady with the big camera. I was actually there to photograph Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, but all I found was hungry deer and this:

But I'll keep trying! One of these days I'll get a bighorn sheep picture to show you here on the blog, I promise!

Marvelous picture! Deer are fun to watch as long as it's not your own shrubbery that they are decimating!

Awww….what a cute picture Tamera! I love how the deer is standing on its hind legs.

Thanks guys! It wasn't really that miraculous of a shot, he kept going for that low branch so I got quite a few chances to capture a good snap of him. He was certainly adorable though -- and Linda, you're right, as long as he's not decimating MY plants I think he's the best thing since sliced bread ;^) Ha ha!
