Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Denver, on film

I recently spent a day in Denver with my friend Jennifer, shooting pictures on film instead of digital. I've already blogged one of the photos (HERE), and I thought it'd be nice to share a few more. Film is so different from digital. It has much more exposure latitude, and even though it's contrasty, there is so much detail in the shadows and highlights -- you have to really work for that in digital, but with film it's inherent. Plus I love the grain, which is something you don't have with digital at all. Anyway, enjoy these photos. I certainly enjoyed taking them.
