It's Skywatch Friday, and probably like many other participants, I have a picture of the lunar eclipse to show you! Could you see it from where you live? It was pretty awe inspiring. I took this shot at exactly 1:23AM Mountain Standard Time. Once the moon was in full eclipse, the "blood" color became truly evident, especially in photos (I did not manipulate this at all, other than cropping and removing "noise"). Beautiful! It was worth standing outside in my front yard in 28 degree temperatures! Below is an animated GIF of the eclipse in progress. Since I took so many pictures, I thought I'd make an animation for you (apologies that this is not scientific -- my tripod kept shifting, so the moon isn't quite following its true trajectory here).

Good snap of the blood moon.
Wonderful capture of the Blood Moon, it was amazing to watch wasn't it.
You nailed it. Well done and thanks for showing.
Here in germany I unfortunately can not see and am quite enchanted by your pictures.
Absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately I slept right through it.
Wow, cool photos of the moon! I also really like the photo in your header, so beautiful.
Great set of images. You even got Mars in the background of a few of them. Nice work.
Nice job, Tamera! Perfect!
This is awesome! Love the animation. I tried (unsuccessfully) to do something similar to this.
Ah, so that's Mars back there! A blood moon indeed.
We had overcast skies that night, so I missed it.
Great picture / animation of the Moon - mine are a bit clouded!
