Turdus merula


I spied this blackbird perched atop the cross on Sacred Heart Church, and grabbed a quick shot of it through the windshield of my car as I waited for the traffic light to turn green. I think it's rather appropriate that the Latin name for blackbird is Turdus merula; look at all the bird poop on that poor cross!
