I know that some people think of pigeons as basically vermin, but I think they're cute or even beautiful sometimes. Look at the gorgeous plum collar on this fellow, and the subtles shades of grey. He's a beauty.

You're right, besides beautiful the dove is a bird almost of corral.

When they are in group I find their cooing sounds so soothing.
I think they're real characters, so I don't mind seeing them. Those feathers really stand out.
They do have nice coloring. Our around her have a green-ish blue tint. Some are purple too.
