Coquette's Bistro
Last weekend Pat and I finally had a chance to check out Coquette's Bistro and Bakery, across the street from Poor Richard's. All of our friends have been raving about it. And it's co-owned by our friend J.B., which is another good reason to eat there! I had forgotten that it's a gluten-free restaurant. Gluten is not a problem for either of us, so it's no big deal to us either way. Regardless, it was delicious. I had the most insanely yummy grilled cheese sandwich (there was brie in it! I'm still dreaming about that sandwich!) and a salad dressed with basil vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious! Pat had biscuits and gravy along with the most sinful doughnut you could imagine: maple glaze and bacon. On our way out I stopped and took a picture of their pastry case. Don't these cupcakes look delicious? And it's all gluten free!
