Snow? What snow?
Yes, that's snow you're seeing. It was 33° F and breezy when I took this picture a few days ago in Monument Valley Park. The photo of the cyclist below was taken a few minutes later. This man was stretching before a run, so I asked him for a photo because he's the perfect illustration of a die-hard, sporty Coloradoan! Snow? What snow? One of the things I love about living here is the dedication so many of our residents have to their chosen sport. Rain or shine, snow, sleet, even hail... it doesn't matter what the weather is doing, you'll always find runners and cyclists out there doing their thing for the sheer joy of it. Not to mention rock climbers, ice climbers, skiers, snowboarders, hikers, skateboarders, golfers, mountain bikers, snowshoers, tennis players -- if it's an outdoor sport, you will find multitudes of enthusiasts here, and they all seem to be impervious to the weather!
As for this guy, told me that his name is Craig Young and he's a former world class Master Runner. He runs every single day, no matter what. He's not going to let a little snow stop him. In fact, he hasn't missed a day since June 29, 2008. Now that's dedication!

I admire his determination but feel concern for his health.
Linda, I would describe him as ULTRA healthy!
I know people just like him that don't feel the cold.
He certainly does keep in fighting form.
Ouch ! a remarkable man !
At his age it seems that doing gymnastics likes yet.
Tomás.
My boss is a runner and he runs dressed the same way in the Winter.
