Every now and then you come across the aftermath of what must have been a spectacular traffic accident. Sometimes it's easy to deduce what happened, and sometimes it takes a little more braining. Pat and I noticed this mess on Monday, where Garden of the Gods Road and 30th Street form a "T". I could be wrong, but it looks like someone ran through the top of the "T" and hit this sign, knocking it over. That must have been quite an accident, because the sign is huge, and as you can see it's made of stone! I hope no one was injured! The sign, I'm afraid, is a lost cause.

To knock those over, must have taken a lot of force.
