Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

A foggy day in the Garden

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, we had heavy fog on Sunday, which is quite unusual for dry, dry Colorado! Pat and I took a spin through the Garden of the Gods to admire it in its rare misty cloak. It wasn't just foggy, it was cold to boot -- only 20°F. Brrrr! I know you can't really see them, but in the top photo there are two pairs of pedestrians on the sidewalk in the distance, and two rock climbers high above them. Gotta hand it to us hardy Coloradoans. We're not going to let a little fog and freezing temperatures ruin our Sunday plans!

The trees high up on this rock face are covered in frost. It's so pretty!

The mist creates such a wonderful mood in this landscape.
