On Sunday I moved from my trusty old studio on Weber Street to some new digs on Knob Hill. I've been on Weber for a decade, and part of me worries that this was a bad decision. Late in the day, after many, many trips up and down the stairs of my new place, carrying load after load after load of stuff, the U-Haul was finally empty and we found this guy waiting in it as we were leaving the building. He was huge! And a very curious raven indeed. We had to wait until his curiosity was satisfied and he strolled down the ramp. Good omen or bad? I'm generally an optimist, so I'm inclined to think that the raven's capricious appearance in our empty U-Haul after a long and trying day was a good sign. He was welcoming me to my new place, of course! Quoth the raven, "Good job out there and way to stay hydrated! Moving is hard work!" 😉
