Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Well folks, today it didn't get above about 10°F and I'm still sick, so it goes without saying that I did not venture outside to take any pictures. (I barely ventured outside the bedroom, honestly.) So for my last post of the year I did a little digging and found this photo that I took on December 7, 2015 of a cute Victorian on Bijou Street, a block or three east of Wahsatch. I remember that I took it for a specific reason, and that reason now escapes me -- something to do with an old newspaper clipping about someone who had lived there, possibly a WWII soldier. Sorry I don't have more of a juicy story to tell you! At any rate, a little digging tells me that it was built in 1890, and you can see with your own eyes that it's adorable and well loved.

It's New Year's Eve, time to say goodbye to 2018! Here's wishing you a splendid 2019 with lots of great new adventures, dear readers! Cheers!

It is a sweet little house, and a great photo to begin the year.

It looks quite distinctive to me.

Hope you feel better soon. Can't believe you had the gumption to post anyway, and even provide information!
