Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Spider-Man Graffito

Pat and I stopped in to Josh and John's for an ice cream cone on Thursday. I figure I deserved it. On Saturday I had to get a shot and I'm deathly afraid of needles, so that wasn't much fun. On Wednesday I got my teeth cleaned, and no one really enjoys the dentist poking around in their mouth, right? Finally, to add insult to injury, Thursday was mammogram day. Ugh! By the time that was over, I definitely felt that ice cream was called for! I had oatmeal cookie and Pat had salted peanut butter. As we finished up and left, I noticed this graffiti on the parking garage across the street. Can you see it, up there near the top? That's five or six stories above the ground. Whoever did it had to lean way over the wall, probably at night, and spray it upside down. This seems like quite a risk just to put your mark on a nondescript parking garage, so high above the ground that people can barely even see it for all the trouble you took. It also looks like someone else (from a rival gang?) came along and put a red X over it. And now some poor devil has got to risk their neck to remove all that. Tsk tsk.

I find taggers dismaying to say the least.

Yes, you deserved that treat.
