Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Icy Creek

A handful of pictures of Cheyenne Creek, which is iced over in spots, taken a couple of days ago. It's been quite cold lately but I don't mind. I appreciate that we're having a real winter this year, as opposed to last year, which was alarmingly warm and almost completely snow-less. I'm okay with icy creeks!

It certainly helps in the West- anywhere, really, to have a good amount of snow in winter, as a measure for water levels in spring and summer and in terms of minimizing fire hazards later on.
