I really like the Indian at the top of this post. It looks old and perfectly restored, but it's actually brand new bike styled to look authentically retro. This must be what an Indian must have looked like coming off the showroom floor in the 1940s. So beautiful! More cool bikes below, and I'll finish up with this series tomorrow.
This 1957 Triumph has such a great history! The owner, who bought it new, did some modifying and raced it at Bonneville in 1960, setting two land speed records. He owned it until his death in 2007. On loan to a family friend, the bike made a triumphant return to Bonneville in 2016, 2017 and 2018, setting three more records. It's so great that this old bike is still being ridden in the spirit of its original owner's passion for racing.
