Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

This rather unremarkable photo of the Wells Fargo building is being shared with you today because I'm super busy and don't have time to go out and take pictures! Ha ha! Why do I even have such a boring picture to begin with? I'll tell you why: I had to shoot a corporate event at the Antlers Hotel about two and-a-half weeks ago, and when I finished for the day I had a rather long wait as the valet went to retrieve my car. So long, in fact, that I got bored and took a couple of (bad) pictures of the Wells Fargo building with my cell phone. Finally, another valet showed up with my car -- it turns out that the first guy took so long because he couldn't drive a manual transmission! Ha! I think someone should teach him how, if he wants to keep his job there! 😉

The blue windows make it seem a building without insides!
If you like to read, I just finished Isabella Bird's "A Lady's Life in the Rocky Mountains," consisting of letters to her sister. An English woman in her 40's, world traveler, she spent time in Colorado in 1875 and rode alone on a horse from Denver to Colorado Springs...you'd probably recognize names/locations. An intrepid woman.
