We haven't seen the Peak in over a week, which is unusual indeed. It's been nothing but clouds, rain, and a particularly destructive spring snowstorm for the last several days. All of this rendered Pikes Peak nearly invisible and it was depressing. I was so happy to see the sun today, I rushed to the overlook for a picture. I wasn't the only one with that idea; the tiny parking lot was overflowing! I guess we all missed our usual majestic view.
