Red Sphere

More from my day at the Broadmoor last Saturday. This large floral creation (and yes, it's real roses) is always there, in the lobby at Broadmoor West. In case you're wondering, it's really big -- you wouldn't be able put your arms completely around it. As far back as I can remember, it's always been there. I imagine it must need to be replaced with fresh roses every few days but I've never caught them in the act. It's a real show stopper; guests always pause on their way through to take a picture of it. Even the jaded filthy rich who've seen it all in their pampered lives are a little awed. It's hard to walk past without admiring it!
