I don't normally take up space on this blog with my professional photos, but I just had to share this. I love vintage clothes! A couple of summers ago I added to my collection when I acquired a box of stage costumes that had belonged to a dancer and entertainer from the late 1940s to 1950s. I intended to do a photo shoot with them as soon as possible, but before I knew it two years had passed. I finally got it together, called up a favorite model that I've worked with before, and found a great location. Here's one of the most gorgeous gowns of the lot. It's black satin, cut on the bias, crystal pleated, embellished with crystals, and clearly handmade with skill. Wow! If you'd like to know more of the back story, more pictures from the photo shoot, and several pictures of the original owner of this gorgeous gown, I did post about it on Facebook HERE.
