Yesterday Pat and I decided to go for a drive in the mountains, and before we knew it we were on Guanella Pass, over a hundred miles away. So beautiful! Here's Mount Bierstadt looking lovely with a light dusting of snow. I actually took this photo from one of the two parking lots at the summit of the pass (there's a trailhead at this spot, in case you feel like climbing that mountain). Yes, Colorado is so awesome, you can have views like this from a parking lot. Ha ha! More tomorrow!
